
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Dr. Miha Zobec presented his lecture “South Slavs in Argentina and their “Homeland” Connections from the Late Nineteenth Century to the Second World War” as part of the Balkan Studies Doctoral Seminar at the Institute of World History. The lecture was organized in cooperation with the Centre for Ibero-American Studies of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University.
Miha Zobec is a research fellow at the Slovenian Migration Institute of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Ljubljana and an assistant professor at the University of Primorska in Koper. He is currently conducting research in Prague as a scholarship holder of the Josef Dobrovsky Fellowship at the Institute of History of the CAS.
